Webb Vs. Facts

Everybody knew that President Bush had to dedicate a good portion of his SOTU address to the war in Iraq. Democrats knew this and it's why they chose Senator Penis Mouth to give the rebuttal.

Webb is a Vietnam vet which gives him infallibility and a figmental shield that appears whenever he's talking about the war.  If you subscribe to this liberal "chickenhawk" argument then you should also believe W. Thomas Smith Jr's word is indispensible as well.

How much I hate "compassionate" conservatism.  Conservatism is compassionate (and common sense too!) in itself, no need for added verbiage from Senator Brownback (R-La Raza).

(CNSNews.com) - Incoming House Democratic Whip Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is defending a San Francisco AIDS group that members of Congress, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and even AIDS activists have criticized for using federal tax dollars to sponsor "obscene" sex programs.

San Francisco's STOP AIDS Project came under scrutiny in Washington, through the efforts of Michael Petrelis, an HIV positive San Francisco homosexual AIDS activist. Petrelis claimed the STOP AIDS Project was using federal dollars to fund seminars on homosexual "fisting," sado-masochism, and homosexual flirting.

MRC Awards

Godsend, Brent Bozell's Media Research Center, has released it's 19th Annual Awards for the Year's Worst Reporting.

Always funny and always appalling, the Awards showcase the most perverse examples of liberal bias of the year.

Most interesting though is their  "Media Hero" award, where we are given a taste of what's to come if Barack Hussein-Obama runs for President in 08. Take this clip, where ABC's Terry Moran displays an affection for Hussein-Obama as only a teenage groupie could.  If you think that is bad (and there's more where that came from at the MRC site) just wait until he runs. Our one party media will run through fire to make sure we're saying President Hussein-Obama in January 08.

Since we know Hussein-Obama is the media's choice for President that should be a cue for Republicans to only nominate somebody media savvy.  Since , like Al-Jazeera, our major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS and numerous publications) serve as activist journalists in the same mold as Amy Goodman, we need somebody who could demand attention wherever he goes. This qualification already narrows the list of Republican nominees thoroughly.

Leftist On Obama

Had Bayh been half-Kenyan and raised in Hawaii by white grandparents from Kansas, he too would have become a political star, at least for the month of December. But he is a conventional white man. When Bayh speaks in the quiet Midwestern way, he gets tarred as lackluster.

Harold Ford and Race

It's funny how unfounded assumptions become common wisdom with the help of our one party media.

Of course Harold Ford lost  his senate bid because he was black, at least that's what we're supposed to believe.  Jonathan Martin over at NRO's The Corner disagrees and so do I.

Martin writes:

Which leads to the crux of the issue.  Nobody can seriously argue that Ford's race was not a factor.  Without question, there were some whites who voted against him based upon his skin color.  But race was part of a much more complicated stew that took out Ford.  He was also hampered by his bachelorhood, his family name and his hometown.

Yeah, and I'd like to add that there were many blacks who voted for Ford because of his race and only because of his race. Voting for somebody because they're black is just as racist as voting against somebody because they're black, the former is rarely mentioned in opinions about Harold Ford's loss.

RIP Sen. Stafford

The 93 year old Republican died today.

CNN has more. Of course, they must remind everyone that he "tangled with [his] own party".  With years of being a foreign policy hawk, strong fiscal conservative and champion of school choice the only thing CNN mourns over are his liberal traits. Remember, not being a 'real' Republican humanizes you--ask Barry Goldwater.
